CO2 extracted Cassia Seed

Our Cassia seed essential oil is Co2 extracted from ripe seeds of the leguminous plant Cassia obtusifolia L. in the Northern China province of Hebei.

The aroma of Jue Ming Zi oil is rich and deep with a subtle stimulating tartness. Its earthy sweetness when inhaled immediately moves in to the nasal orifices, ascends to the eyes and grounds the body and spirit.

In Chinese Medicine Jue Ming Zi, very cooling by nature, is renowned for its strong attributes of clearing heat and calming the liver. Accordingly, as a result of its deep association to the Liver, which in Chinese medical theory opens to the eyes, it is excellent at treating a wide array of eye disorders while also introducing moisture into the system for stool movement and rebalancing of dry skin.

Jue Ming Zi essential oil can be utilized as a steam to the eyes, addressing a host of eye related issues. Used topically on dry, irritated skin or on specific acupuncture points this oil will be very beneficial for treating the entire liver channel and moisturizing from the genitals up to the eyes.

Jue Ming Zi essential oil has a fascinating and complex chemical composition. Its robust Chrysophanic acid constituent, and the inherent moisturizing nature of this oily seed, is wonderful at treating constipation. Moreover, Chrysophanic acid plays a role in reducing retinae degeneration.

Chyrsarobin, a prevalent chemical component in this oil, has been found to be useful in treating skin disorders such as psoriasis and along with the high vitamin E content of Jue Ming Zi oil this product will have topical applications for treating dry skin disorders.

Finally, the oil contains estradiol which is useful in the treatment of perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness. (***cautioned for use during pregnancy***)
